Amadis Brugnoni

FOH Engineer, Tonmeister, Audiodesigner (MA)


Amadis Brugnoni is a freelance FOH engineer working with touring artists and in music theater shows. His musical areas of activity range from rock/pop to jazz/world to classical music.

His work at several local clubs in Basel has given him the chance to work together with people like Al Foster, Mark Turner, Jorge Rossy, Avishai Cohen, Sesto Sento, Terre Thaemlitz, Mark Fell, Keith Fullerton Whitman, Russell Haswell, Gurd, Six days of May, Burry Tomorrow and many more.

In the theater world he has worked on productions realized by Carlixto Bieito, Richard Werlock, Christoph Loy, Elias Perrig and Volker Lösch and mixed FOH for the musicals Fame and Jesus Christ Super Star (both directed by Tom Ryser).

He works side by side with the productions OLOID (Christian Zehnder, Gregor Hilbe, Matthias Loibner) and BachSpace (Tamar Halperin, Etienne Abelin, Tomek Kolczynski) and offers them a 360° audio service when they're on tour.
In addition to his work as a FOH engineer Amadis does audio design productions (museum, installation, advertisement), works as a maxMSP programmer in a research context (IRMAT) and plays as a musician in different bands and ensembles.

In addition to his musical work, Amadis studied Arts Management at the University of Basel's Studienzentrum Kulturmanagement.
